PUBLIC INTERVENTIONS
Incidents – Implants – Attributions – Offerings
The processes of develpment and removal are an integral part of the PUBLIC INTERVENTION. These processes are presented in uncovered form, or else as concealed and anonymous event, which interfere with the setting, the structure and the mechanisms of everyday life and result in a sense of constructive alienation, thanks to the nature and duration of their presence.
A publicly installed incongruity is characterized as an urban IMPLANTATION, which influences the given environs by its setting or its means of occurrence. Reciprocations between the implantation and its surroundings are both self-evident and exemplary.
Thus an act of removal or a structural change within an exemplarily situation becomes defined as ATTRIBUTIVE. It refers to objects or phenomena that have a close functional connection to each other and interact in diffuse dialogue their wider environment. The exemplary character can thus be deciphered within the context of the transpired situation.
INTERVENTIONAL OFFERINGS are patterns for opportunities for participation in combination with the given information, tools and constellations. Thus they allow the cooperation and communication of aesthetic experiences and processes.
