Marzahn rises

The border of the water catchment* which I found, had not been inserted flush with the surrounding paving. The idea of a duplicate floating at a height of 40 cm came to mind.

*The area around the trunk of a street tree that is waterable is called the water catchment

   

 








   


   


 


 



Marzahn rises by Christian Hasucha has been selected for the competition "Temporäre Kunstprojekte Marzahner Promenade 2018". The invited, single-phase art competition was organized and carried out by the district office Marzahn-Hellersdorf of Berlin in cooperation with the department of urban development and the department of further education, culture, social affairs and facility management. Marzahn rises was part of the promenade between 23 July and 3 October 2018. The project series was supported by the federal and state programme "Active Centres".
