I selected 300 copies of my latest, newly-printed book, stamped them with an M, numbered them and took them to the post office. The chosen but unknowing recipients could choose whether they had received a damaged copy (in German: Mängelexemplar) or a multiple.

The book, 'CHRISTIAN HASUCHA, Öffentliche Interventionen / Public Interventions', published in September 2013, was funded by the Stiftung Kunstfonds, Bonn. The intervention, 'Book M', was supported by the cultural editor of the TAGESSPIEGEL, as well as the Verlag für Moderne Kunst, Nürnberg and the organisers of the gallery, 'bauchhund Salonlabo', Berlin.
