JETZT (now) and the creek

In contrast to JETZT II (now II, project 23) this envelopment of stone around the air-word is a permanent construction. The river flows slowly by. The greenery of the embankment is cut every now and then by the government.

JETZT (now) and the creek
has been drafted and planed by C.H. in 2010 and realized with the help of many people involved until spring 2011. It is part of “Walking over Water”, a joint project of Lippeverband, der Ruhr 2010, the city of Kamen, the ministry for environment and nature conservation et al., curated by Billie Erlenkamp. JETZT (now) has been installed by H&K gabion building, supervised by Rolf Teschner. Special thanks to structural engineer Josef Schreiber, Ulm and to Bersch steel constructions, Kamen.
