Live in Münster

Pictures of houses (from the Duesbergweg-settlement Münster) are printed on canvasses and are stretched on picture-frames. A small, recessed niche is made in every picture and each picture is accompanied by a plant-seedling. Blank hand-bound books are presented to the inhabitants of the houses with the request to use them as a diary or sketchbook for the duration of the exhibition. Thus a self-portrait of the settlement paints itself. 10 years later the participants in the project will receive the picture, the plant and the book. The book fits into the niche in the picture, like an "intarsia".
